Angelo Joseph Nardi

Angelo Joseph "Joe" Nardi, age 81 of Monroeville, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Monroeville, where he has been residing for the past 30 years. He was born on February 28, 1941in Williamsport, PA to the late Angelo Arthur and Flora Mae (Pagana) Nardi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul C. Nardi.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Helen Naimark; daughter, Tonya (Sean Leonard) Nardi; son, Stephen (Kozue Oshiro) Nardi; granddaughters, Natasha Molina and Kaede Nardi; great-grandson, Isaac Schiemer; sister, Evelyn (John) Schmitt; brother, Michael (Eugene Lefkowitz) Nardi; additional family members, Allen (Jane) Naimark, Larry (Therese) Naimark, Arnold (Donna) Naimark, and Jessica, Andrew, Ian, Nathan, and Aaron as well as beloved extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School (Class of '59), The Pennsylvania State University ('63, Chemical Engineering), and Stanford University ('64, Nuclear Engineering). During his life, he worked for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Enercon Services.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 3, 2022, 4-8 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701 (570-322-4706). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701, with Fr. David Bechtel, officiating. He will be laid to rest at Wildwood Cemetery immediately following services. The family kindly asks that masks be required for all visitations.
