Gary J. Robron, 72, of Washington Township, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He was born on July 28, 1950 in Port Clinton, OH, to the late George and Leah (Jordan) Robron. Gary had many outdoor interests such as hunting, fishing, and was an avid bird-watcher. He loved fishing with his grandson, Bryce, and looked forward to watching his hockey games. He was also very proud of his granddaughter, Leah, and enjoyed her accomplishments on the rifle team and soccer field. Gary was a proud Marine Corps veteran and served in combat in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Slickville American Legion and a life member of Lower Burrell VFW. Gary traveled a lot and he cherished spending time with his wife and family on vacations. He was a jokester, loved life and his family, and never met a stranger. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 51 years, Lillian; two loving daughters, Hollie (George Shellhammer) Robron and Kelly (Brian) Ferace; his adored grandchildren, Leah Shellhammer and Bryce Ferace; a sister, Gaynell Robron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 27th, Gary and Lillian's 51st wedding anniversary, from 10 AM to 12 noon and from 2 to 4 PM at Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381).
