Harry George Johnson, Sr.

Age 80 of Plum, formerly of Braddock, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Beloved husband of Judee (Althen) Johnson. Loving father of Mary A. (Chad) Bennett and Harry G. (Twila) Johnson, Jr.; and step-father of Beth Ann (Ray) Smith, Sara Girard, and Amy Girard. Proud grandfather of  Jaimee Taylor, Steven (Kayla) Plavetzky, Jr., Brandon Bennett, Kristy Bennett, Julie Bennett, Rachelle Scott, Brandon Michael Johnson, Lauren Nichole Johnson, Laura Ashley Johnson, Shai Smith, and Leila Yonemura; and great-grandfather to Raymond James Witkowski, Andrew Plavetzky, and Anthony Plavetzky. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry Axelius and Mary Elizabeth (Lowstetter) Johnson; sisters, Doris Jockers, Carol Jackson, and Janie Roderus; first wife, Linda Johnson; and daughter, Dawn Marie Johnson. Harry worked for Boeing as a minuteman missile repairman and later went on to work as an electronic technician for MSA in Cranberry Twp., retiring after nearly 30 years of service. He was a train enthusiast, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
