Juliann (Nugent) Kerna

Juliann (Nugent) Kerna, 97, of Penn Township, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. She was born on March 31, 1925 in Cecil, PA, to the late Martin and Mildred (Zagorski) Nugent. Juliann was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church in Wall. She liked bingo and scratch-off tickets, and truly loved being a mother and raising her children. Juliann is survived by her beloved husband of 73 years, Paul Kerna; five loving children, Paul David (Dawn) Kerna, Ronald Lee (Tillie) Kerna, Bruce M. (Sandy) Kerna, Cheryl Ann (Omar) Amallah, and Carol Lea (James) Martini; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Martin (Carmella) Nugent; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Alan Kerna; and siblings, Rose Mary Adamski, Audrey Douglas, Virginia Kristoff, and Joseph Nugent. Friends will be received Friday, August 19 from 3-7 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a Panachida will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, August 20, with Rev.
