of Level Green unexpectedly yet peacefully passed away at home on Thursday June 1, 2023.  Sue Ellen will be forever in the hearts of her husband, family, friends and relatives.  She was the loving wife for 47 years of Michael Olsen, the beloved daughter of the late Sherwood and Grace Stoos, and the dear sister of the late Raymond Stoos and his wife Eileen. Sue Ellen leaves behind a multitude of friends and extended family (including stepdaughter, nieces, nephews, sisters-in -law, grandchildren, grand nieces and nephews) who have all been touched by her extensive knowledge and love of nature, the arts, birds, animals and gardening.  She was a voracious reader who loved to share American History.  An avid traveler, Sue loved Annapolis, Chesapeake Bay, Costa Rica, Lake Chautauqua and Institute, the Dallas Arboretum, the Grand Canyon and Florida.  She was passionate about the game of golf and the friendships forged with fellow golfers.  Sue Ellen’s beautiful voice touched the hearts of all who had the opportunity to hear her sing, from her extensive stage performances in her youth, to her impromptu break outs in song on any given day. Friends will be received Tuesday, June 6th, 2-4 and 6-7:30 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (Monroeville/Plum Chapel) 445 Beatty Rd., Monroeville (412 856-4747) where a celebration of life service will conclude the visitation Tuesday, 7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
